Contagion is an American thriller film that’s found to have the most precise storyline of today’s coronavirus spread from among various movies based on a similar theme. The virus spreads out from fomites and the story follows attempts by public health officials and medical researchers to find and contain the disease. It starts with Beth Emhoff collapsing and dying from an unknown cause 2 days after returning from Hong Kong. Then her husband finds that their son also died due to an unknown virus.
